Wisbech Town have responded to two shock resignations by appointing a familiar face.

Dick Creasey has returned to the Fenmen and will take temporary charge, starting with their Northern Premier League Division One Midlands clash with Stamford tomorrow (Saturday).

Creasey, who first arrived as Wisbech boss in 2004, has had several spells at Fountain Fresh Park before his most recent tenure which ended in September 2017.

His appointment comes after joint-managers Arran Duke and Mark Warren quit the club last night (Thursday).

Duke and Warren leave Wisbech 18th in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands, seven points adrift of safety.

The ex-March Town pair were confirmed joint-managers on January 15 after previously taking interim charge following the departure of Chris Lenton last month.

They have lost all five of their games in all competitions since taking charge.
