Plans for eight new homes beside a busy road have been turned down.
Developers named in planning papers as Mr and Mrs Rout applied to demolish a bungalow and construct eight new properties off the main A1101 Elm High Road, at Wisbech.
Earlier proposals for the same site were turned down and later refused on appeal on grounds they would lead to over development of the site.

Fresh outline plans were submitted in August, which included removing the existing bungalow to create more space on the site.
A planning statement said this would allow the proposed new single-storey homes to be set back from the main road.
But Emneth Parish Council objected to the amended plans. It said they would still lead to "over-intensive development for the site" and increased traffic movements onto Elm High Road.
West Norfolk Council’s planning portal says the proposals have now been refused.
