A charity is appealing for volunteers to walk a dog in Tydd St Giles.
The Cinnamon Trust is looking for people to help a resident of the village who is unable to walk their pet.
The national charity provides free pet care for elderly people or those with terminal illnesses.
Many of these people worry about their ability to properly care for their animals, with some looking to rehome their beloved companions.
The Cinnamon Trust's network of volunteers helps to keep them together by providing essential pet care.
This includes dog walking for housebound owners, fostering pets when owners need hospital or hospice care, and even cleaning bird cages or litter trays.
The charity is now looking for volunteers in Tydd St Giles to help walk a dog belonging to a local resident.
Interested individuals can download a volunteer registration form from the charity's website or send an email to appeals@cinnamon.org.uk.
For more details, potential volunteers can also call during office hours, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, on 01736 758 701, or visit www.cinnamon.org.uk.
