Breathtaking photos sent in by readers captured the moment one of Britain's most iconic aircraft took to the skies over Cambridgeshire this weekend. 

The Red Arrows departed from RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire at 1pm on October 5 before arriving at RAF Mildenhall. 

The squadron displayed at the Duxford Flying Finale Airshow, an event billed as the 'grand send-off' for the 2024 flying season.

The squadron flew over parts of Huntingdonshire, East Cambridgeshire and Peterborough before returning to RAF Waddington at 5.16pm. 

Times and routes were subject to change due to weather conditions and other requirements. 

The Red Arrows flew over Thorney Toll (1.08pm), Warboys two minutes later and Stuntney (1.13pm) on their way to RAF Mildenhall. 

In the afternoon they were visible over Feltwell (4.21pm), Stretham (4.23pm), Chatteris (4.24pm), Huntingdon (4.26pm) and Ramsey (5.09pm).
