Another bank in Wisbech is to close for good.
Halifax, located at 28 Market Place, is to shut in 2025.
It means that the nearest alternative branches are in Peterborough and King's Lynn.
The closure date has been confirmed as January 22 - the same day that the Wisbech branch of Lloyds bank, on North Brink, is to close.

The Halifax website states the reason why the branch is closing.
“Before we close any branch, we look at how our customers are managing their money and using the branch," the statements begin.
“Most customers are now using our mobile banking app, online banking or calling us instead.
“This means they are using branches, including our Wisbech branch, much less.
“Because of this, we'll be closing our Wisbech branch.”
