A main road in a Wisbech town is to shut for six days from today (September 6).
Station Road in Wisbech St Mary will close tonight at 6pm and will not be open again until Thursday, September 12 at 6pm.
The closure is in place to allow for UK Power Networks to carry out roadworks.
A 14 minute diversion route is in place. According to Causeway one.network, it is as follows:
- Continue on Station Road
- Turn sharp left towards Leverington Common and continue
- Turn slight right towards Dowgate Road
- Turn slight right towards Leverington Road and continue
- Continue on North End
- Turn slight left towards Freedom Bridge Roundabout and continue
- Turn left towards Freedom Bridge
- Turn left towards North Street and continue
- Continue on Chapel Road
- Turn slight right towards North Brink
- Turn slight right towards Barton Road and continue
- Turn sharp left towards Station Road and continue
