Thousands of people attended the "fantastic" 2024 edition of WisBEACH Rock Festival.

Debbie Clark, customer services and liaison officer for Wisbech Town Council, who helps to run the event with main organiser Councillor Sam Hoy, said: "It was really fantastic - it always is.

"There's such a lovely community feeling.

"People pitch up their chairs and are there for the whole day. Even though we had a little sprinkle of showers, that didn't dampen any spirits.

"The stalls did really well and Fenland District Council's youth space was very well received.

"We changed it up this year and had a bouncy castle company come in, which was packed until the event finished.

"There were free donkey rides as well and the performers including an Elvis impersonator and Ska Brittania were great - what's not to love.

"Overall, I think it went brilliantly - the months of hard work definitely paid off.

"The event is so popular that people come back year after year - and that's the hardest part of any event."

The Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing team also attended at the event.

One of the officers said: "We supported hard working volunteers and partners from across the town to ensure a safe event.

"It was great to see the community coming together to enjoy themselves!"
