A long-serving carer has celebrated 20 years of working at a Wisbech care home.
Joyce Turney, a care practitioner at Rose Lodge, started as a senior care assistant in July 2004, before completing her course to become a care practitioner in 2019.
General manager Meg Jones said of Joyce's dedication: “Joyce is a well-respected and liked member of our team with both residents, visitors and colleagues.
“It was so special to be able to celebrate her and the loyalty and dedication she has shown to our residents and the home over the 20 years she has been with us - thank you Joyce.”
Joyce said: “Thank you so much to everyone, I wasn’t expecting anything and its lovely to be recognised like this.
