A horticultural company in the Fens has successfully graduated five trainees from its two-year programme.
The Volmary traineeship, based in Wisbech St Mary, concluded by awarding qualifications to the successful participants in July.
This year saw Keegan Pearce, Larissa Cooper, Claire Elliott, Joseph Loveridge, and Nicole Hempson completing the series of exams and projects that draw together practical work experience and classroom learning.
Four of the talented individuals have been offered full-time positions within the company.

Wayne Eady, managing director, said: “I am delighted that since we founded our training school with help from Fenland District Council, we have been able to continue to support trainees to succeed in Horticultural roles.
"We have several employees who stayed with us after their courses and am delighted that four of those completing their recent award will remain with us and have bright futures."
The scheme currently accepts 4 or 5 trainees each year and expects to select the next candidates in the coming weeks for the September 2024 intake.
Potential trainees can contact Beverley.smith@volmary.com for further details.
