A man has been charged following a spate of thefts from vehicles across Wisbech.
Since June 1, there have been 37 reports of thefts from a vehicle across Wisbech, with 10 having a window smashed to gain entry, four being left unlocked and the rest not known how entry was gained.
Daniel Clements Lawrence, 37, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of attempted theft from a motor vehicle and three counts of theft from a motor vehicle following his arrest in Wisbech on Tuesday.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday).
