A home in Wisbech has been closed by Cambridgeshire Police officers.
A closure order was served on 11 Duke Street on July 22 by the local neighbourhood policing team over concern of drug dealing and associated anti-social behaviour.
The order is in place until October 21, and it states that the property is closed to everyone including the legal tenant, with the exceptions of employees of Clarion Housing Association, Cambridgeshire County Council and the emergency services.
Failure to comply with the order is a criminal offence which may result in a prison sentence of up to three months, a fine, or both.

PC Matt Smart, from Wisbech’s NPT, said: “We have been working to tackle the concerns around this address for some time, but further action had to be taken after issues were still occurring.
“I hope the closure shows the community we are listening to their concerns and will continue to take action such as applying for court orders when needed.
“While the order is in place, we will monitor the address to check for compliance and deal with any breaches.”
Anyone with information about the order being breached should contact police via the web chat service or their online forms.
Those without internet access should call 101.
