A former Wisbech pharmacy could be developed into a three bedroom flat according to new plans.
An application submitted to Fenland District Council seeks to change the use of the first floor of the old Boots Pharmacy.
The site is located at the junction of Norfolk Street and West Street, within the town centre and the Wisbech Conservation Area.
Planning permission was previously granted for change of use from retail to a mixed use of five bedroom residence of multiple occupancy in 2018.
In a design and access statement, M A Iqbal Architecture said: "The proposal is for change of use of first floor to 3 bedroom flat. There will be no external alterations.
"Existing windows and doors are to remain as existing. The proposal is not to have any detrimental impact on the amenity of the adjoining properties or the surrounding area.
"The proposal is intended to be a positive contribution to the location and additional improvement will further benefit the property as well as the area.
"We suggest that it has the potential of being a benefit to the location and be an asset to the property with further improvements. It is our view that the continued use to be an overall positive by having significant long-term benefits in this area to the town." centre and the local amenities."
The application can be viewed on the Fenland District Council planning portal using reference F/YR24/0571/PNC08
