A man has been charged with drugs offences near Wisbech.
Officers arrested a man in his twenties on the A17 near Terrington St Clement, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, at around 10pm on Tuesday July 9.
He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Jose Amaral, 25, of Longden Street, Bolton, Greater Manchester has subsequently been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (diamorphine and crack cocaine) between August 11 2023 and July 10 2024 and having possession of criminal property on July 9 2024.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today (July 11).
