A motorcyclist who died in a collision in Scotland at the weekend was from Wisbech, police have confirmed.
Andrew MacPherson, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident which happened on the A9 near Pitlochry on Sunday (June 23).
Police Scotland says at around 1:30pm, officers were called to reports of a three-vehicle collision.
It involved a white Hyundai Ioniq car and two motorcycles, a maroon and a blue Harley Davidson.
Mr MacPherson was driving one of the motorcycles.
The passengers of the car were taken to Ninewells Hospital, in Dundee.
The road was closed for around seven hours afterwards.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
She was due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 25 June, 2024.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
Sgt Willie Strachan from Road Policing at Police Scotland said: “Our thoughts very much remain with the family and friends of Mr MacPherson at this difficult time.”
An appeal for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage has been launched.
