A large police presence, including forensic units, could be seen on a Fenland street today (Tuesday).
According to eye-witnesses, Silvers Lane in Murrow, Wisbech St Mary, was closed by police since 6am yesterday (June 17).
Three forensic units, a marked and unmarked police car and a van are currently at a property.
The road reopened to the public at around 7pm yesterday evening, but police remained at the scene throughout the night.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary has since responded, and said: "We were called in the early hours of yesterday morning to concerns for a person’s welfare.
"Officers attended and a man was taken to hospital where he remains."
