Blackfield Creatives and the Wisbech Gallery are delighted to be working with locally based artist Andrew Howison on his new exhibition, which opened on June 8.
Andrew has previously exhibited in Greenwich and Brick Lane, in London and in Canterbury and he is now sharing his work with Fenland audiences too.
Andrew, who moved to this area from South-East England in 2021, mainly uses acrylics to create his artwork and this new exhibition features more than 30 original pieces, which are all available to purchase.
He is also exhibiting a range of his photographic works too in his show, which is open to the public until July 12.
Blackfield Creatives director, Tim Mann, said: “We are pleased to be able to present this exhibition, which is the first solo show to be installed in Wisbech Gallery.
"Our reason for establishing the gallery was to support the wider creative sector across Fenland and we hope that other artists will take the opportunity, as Andrew has done, to use this space to exhibit their work locally."
Andrew Howison explained why he had decided to deliver a solo show and he said: “Having built up a large body of work over the past few years, the opportunity to exhibit at such a terrific local venue is not one that I felt could be missed."
The ‘Andrew Howison Exhibition’ is open to the public from Wednesday – Saturday, between 10am – 4pm. Entry to the gallery is free and the venue is fully accessible, with Somers Road car park directly behind the building.
The main entrance to the gallery is on South Brink, and it is located directly opposite Peckover House.
