A brand new travel scheme will soon be open for pupils at Wisbech Grammar School.
The Park and Scoot scheme aims to encourage pupils to take up more sustainable ways of travelling to school by providing them with a place to store their scooters during the day.
At a ribbon cutting ceremony this week, attended by the school's Road Safety Ambassadors and school officials, a brand new scooter pod was unveiled.
The pod was funded by a government grant and is set to reduce traffic congestion near the school and contribute to a healthier environment.

Mr Rimmer, Headmaster of Wisbech Grammar School, said: "We are incredibly proud to launch the Park & Scoot scheme.
"This initiative not only promotes healthier lifestyles but also aligns with our commitment to sustainability and road safety. We are grateful for the government funding that made the scooter pod possible and look forward to seeing our pupils take advantage of this new facility."
The Park & Scoot scheme is set to officially roll out across the school community in the coming weeks.
Pupils and parents are encouraged to participate and contribute to the success of this sustainable travel initiative.
