The sunshine hasn’t been out much this year - but it appeared for a group of care home residents on a trip to Wisbech Park.
Staff and residents from Barchester’s Rose Lodge care home, in Wisbech, enjoyed a visit to Wisbech Park Pavilion recently.
They managed to get a glimpse of the warmer weather, took a stroll around the park and enjoyed tea and cake at the café.
Activities co-ordinator, Jane said: “We absolutely love being able to take our residents out and about to visit the park pavilion, it makes us so happy to be able to access venues like this.
“It has been a fantastic day and we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”

Elizabeth, a resident at Rose Lodge, was among the group who enjoyed the trip out.
She said: “The park was just a short ride in the mini bus and was such a lovely place to enjoy our drinks and just watch the world go by.”
