Almost £2,000 has been raised for charity thanks to the efforts of golfers and lodge owners in Tydd St Giles. 

Tydd St Giles golf club senior section combined with the lodge owners at the club raised £1,987 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity based at the North Cambs Hospital, in Wisbech.

The senior section raised £1,362 and the lodge owners organiser Tanya Cole raised £625 at a race night event.

The charity's representative Toni Bird accepted the cheque and thanked everyone for their generosity and said the amount was much appreciated.
