Stormzy is being backed by residents of a Cambridgeshire care home to win Song of the Year at this year's Brit Awards.
The star is up for Song of the Year with his track, 'Firebabe', featuring Debbie.
While the care home residents listened to all 10 tracks nominated for the coveted gong, it was Stormzy's track that they took a particular shine to.
Lily Williams, aged 92, said: "When Stormzy came on everyone stopped talking, so that just goes to show you.
"He's got a very nice voice and it's a lovely song."
Hans Liesler, 95, added: "The song seemed to hang together and was very consistent.
"It had a romantic feel, so Stormzy gets my vote."
The love for Stormzy didn't end there, with resident David Coslett, 86, ruling Stormzy as his winner.
"Stormzy's song is, without a doubt, the best of the lot. For a start, it wasn't just shouting like some of the others, and it was put together well.
"If it had come on the radio, I would have left it on."
While the residents channelled their inner Simon Cowell, some of the songs up for the award were branded as "unintelligible" and "nonsense" by the Montague House Care Home residents.
However, PinkPantheress struck a chord with David, who said of her song 'Boy's a Liar': "It's memorable, and still going through my head even though its finished."
Hans was a big fan of 'Sprinter' by Dave and Central Cee, too: "It's consistent and has a theme."
Yet it seems that for this Brampton Care Home, there's only one winner for Song of the Year at the Brits.
Jacqueline Brown, Regional Communtiy Relations Lead, said: "Stormzy should feel super confident going into Saturday’s Brit Awards because if he’s the winner for the Montague House panel, nothing can stop him now!"
The residents will be cheering for Stormzy ahead of the 2024 Brit Awards on Saturday, March 2.
