A dog groomer hopes to open a new parlour and hydrotherapy pool.
Fenland Council has received a planning application to set up the business in a unit on the industrial estate at Boleness Road, in Wisbech.
A planning statement says it would operate from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Sunday and employ two people.
It adds it would accommodate two dogs at a time for sessions lasting from one to two hours, offering services including washing and drying, hair styling and nail clipping.
No customer waiting area is included in the plans because owners would drop off their pets and return to collect them when their session is finished.
It concludes the business is located "within a sensible and appropriate location" and would provide "additional services" to the town.
