There was cause for double celebration for a Wisbech student who celebrated passing his driving test and his A-Levels on the same morning.
Kacper Mrozik, 18, took his driving test in King’s Lynn and passed before heading into Thomas Clarkson Academy to collect his A-Level results - which saw him achieve his first choice university in Leicester.
He was awarded a B in maths and film studies and a distinction for business.
The results mean he has a place at De Montfort University to study architecture.
“I have always been interested in construction, seeing things being built and coming to life,” he said.
And he won’t be missing his girlfriend, as Megija Barmina, 18, is also going to De Montford to study visual effects after she achieved the grades she needed.
“I’m really looking forward to starting,” she said.
