A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after blowing 136 at the roadside following a four-vehicle crash at the Elme Hall roundabout this morning (August 17).
Cambridgeshire police were called at 6:35am with reports of a collision at the junction with the A47 and A1101.
The road was blocked causing heavy traffic queues.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “One of the drivers has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after blowing 136 at the roadside – the legal limit is 35.”
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "Three ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the A47 (Elm High Road) at Emneth this morning, following reports of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision.
"Three patients were assessed at the scene, but did not require hospital transport."
