People are being asked to help suggest ideas of summer activities planned for Wisbech Park this summer.
Fenland District Council has secured funding from the Government’s Levelling Up Fund for Parks to help people get out in the park to promote health and wellbeing.
It is working with and the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Parks Partnership to deliver ctivities.
Cllr Peter Murphy, Fenland District Council’s portfolio holder for open spaces, said: “There are huge benefits in getting out and enjoying the outdoors and in Fenland we have some wonderful places to do just that, including Wisbech Park.
“Wisbech Park already has a lot going on and several new features installed recently and forthcoming.
“We’d really appreciate input from people into the types of additional activities they’d like to see on offer.”
A survey has been launched to get public input into the activities offered.
They might include activities based in arts and culture, mindfulness, family play, nature or gentle exercise.

If you’re interested in outdoor wellbeing activities, you may also be interested in Ramblers Wellbeing Walks supported by Active Fenland, which run in Wisbech and locations across Fenland.
New people are always welcome to join the walks and new volunteers are being sought to help run them in more locations. Click here for more info.
