Pupils and staff at the Beaupre Community Primary School, in Outwell, held a community afternoon tea to to mark the coronation and bring people together.
They invited school governors, representives of the local fire service, elderly neighbours, local businesses and church members.
There was also a surprise visit from the mayor of Wisbech, Cllr Susan Wallwork, and her deputy, and the children enjoyed trying on the mayor’s chains and gown.
The school councillors and ambassadors helped with preparing and making all the food for the event in the morning and then served and chatted to the guests during.
Ukulele band Teddy’s Boys, volunteered their time to come pupils helped with the special coronation quizzes. There was also a free raffle.
The school's deputy headteacher Mikaila Monck said: "Many people danced after the feast and took selfies with our 'King Charles'. To end the afternoon, we all sang the National Anthem.
"Our children did us proud with their excellent manners and behaviour and everyone had lots of fun.
"It was important to us to do something for the wider school community to celebrate the King’s coronation."
