Advance notice of road closures, roadworks and expected delays across Cambridgeshire today (May 10) and in the days and weeks ahead. 

Cambridgeshire County Council has warned of delays this morning (May 10) on the A603 Barton Road and the A1303 Madingley Road.

A1303 Madingley Road and A428 Queen's Road - Cambridge

Long delays due to emergency works and signals. Work being carried out by Cadent Gas.

St John's Road - Cambridge

Closed today (May 10) and May 11, from 9.30am till 3.30pm, due to works by Open Reach.

Industrial Action on Rail Network 

ASLEF strike action on May 12. Limited service with no some stations not being served. RMT strike on May 13. ASLEF overtime ban from May 15-20, amended service with fewer trains.

A428 Cambridge Road between St Neots and Eltisley

 Delays both ways due to temporary lights in place for works by Cambs Water. Allow more time for journeys.

A1123 Haddenham

Closed both ways to all traffic between May-19 due to works by Anglian Water. 

Branch Bank - Prickwillow

Road closed both ways at the level crossing to all vehicles, from 10pm on May 15 and 6am on May 16 due to works by Network.

Middleton Road - Yaxley

Closed both ways to all traffic from May 15-23 due to works.

Stow Road - Kimbolton

Closed both ways to all traffic between May 12-19 between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. 

Fen Drayton Road - Swavesey 

Closed both ways to all traffic between May 15-19, from 9.30am till 3.30pm for works.

B1040 St Mary's Road, Ramsey 

Closed both ways to all traffic until May 11 daily between 9.30am and 2.30pm for carriageway work. 

High Street – Cheveley 

The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles until May 11 due to works by Anglian Water. 

Capper Road – Waterbeach 

The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles until May 19 due to works by Cambridge Water. 

B1098 Sixteen Foot Bank - Stonea 

Road closed in both directions to all traffic between 9.30am and 3.30pm daily for carriageway works from May 10-26. 

Doddington Road - Chatteris

Closed both ways to all traffic on May 11 between 9.30am and 2.30pm for works.

Fen Road - Newton in the Isle 

Closed both ways to all traffic from May 10-12 due to works by Anglian Water.

Byall Fen Drove - Chatteris

Road closed both ways to all traffic from May 10-12 due to works by Anglian Water.

Borrowdale - Cambridge 

The road is closed to all motor vehicles until May 14 due to works by Cambridge Water. 

Bannold Road - Waterbeach    

The road at the level crossing is closed both ways to all traffic until May 16 between 8am and 5pm daily due to works by Network Rail.   

Church Road - Buckworth               

Closed both ways to all motor vehicles until May 16 due to works by Anglian Water.      

Upton Hill - Upton      

Upton Hill remains closed both ways to all traffic due to works by Anglian Water until May 19.      

Rock Road - Cambridge      

Rock Road is closed between 8am and 5pm daily due to work being carried out by The Electricity Network Company Ltd until June 20.
