Polling stations across Fenland are now open for the district, town and parish council elections.
Residents have until 10pm tonight (Thursday, May 4) to vote for who they want to represent them at Fenland District Council and their town council or village parish.
Whoever is elected will hold the position for four years.
For the first time, voters will need to have photo ID with them today before they can be issued with a ballot paper.
A passport, driving licence, biometric immigration document, an older person’s bus pass or a blue badge permit are among the acceptable forms of ID.

Ward boundaries have also changed in Fenland, following a review carried out by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England.
This means the district’s revised political map has 18 wards and 43 councillors, compared with 24 wards and 39 councillors previously.
The review also resulted in changes to some town council wards.
Therefore, some residents who are now in a new ward may need to vote at a different polling station.
Information on where to vote is featured on polling cards.
You can also check online where you should vote.
The results for Fenland will be counted from 9:30am tomorrow (Friday, May 5) at the Hudson Leisure Centre, in Wisbech.
