Six youngsters who train with a Wisbech street dance club have been selected to represent Team GB at international competitions.
They all dance and train with Alison Street Dance Club and will be competing at the upcoming European and world championships.
Alongside their intense training schedule, the dancers are also busy behind the scenes raising funds to get to the competitions.
For example, the weekend of the King’s Coronation they will be at Hardwick Tesco helping shoppers pack their shopping bags.
They will be also performing their routines at the entrance.
Katie Johnson, who is coordinating the dancers’ fundraising efforts, said: “Hundreds of street dancers from across the country auditioned for this amazing opportunity.
“Eight were chosen in total to represent Team GB, and six come from Alison Street Club. They’ve worked so hard to get this far; it really is a dream come true.
“There are so many emotions running through them. They’re nervous, they’re happy, and they’re counting down the days until they get to compete.”
At the moment, they’re actively raising funds to get to the IDO European Hip Hop and Popping Championships in North Macedonia in June.
In October, they will go on to compete at the IDO World Hip Hop Battles and Breaking Championships in Poland.
Each dancer is asking for £500 to compete each competition, where they will be perfoming as soloists and duos.
The youngsters from Team GB are aged between eight and 19.
Alison Street Dance Club holds classes at the community room at Wisbech Tesco and recently posted a TikTok video of a performance on the escalator.

Katie added: “These young dancers are so talented, and this is the opportunity of a lifetime for them.
“We’ve approached various groups and businesses in and around Wisbech for sponsorship.
“We’re asking people to please get in touch if you can help.”
