A care home in Wisbech had a ‘wonderful time’ celebrating all things Halloween.
On October 28, staff at Orchard House decorated the home with decorations and the residents made spooky props with their lifestyle teams.
Friends and families were invited along to the afternoon, which included an entertainer, singing, clapping, and dancing.
There were also inflatable instruments being played, and balloons and bubbles were enjoyed by all as well as a buffet put on by the home’s catering staff full of ghoulish treats.
Deputy manager, Egle, said: “It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the entertainment and I am proud of the staff and visitors who all dressed up for this occasion.
“The kitchen staff done us proud again by creating amazing themed food.”
One resident's daughter, Denise, who donated a few pumpkins to the home, said: “Mum and I both really enjoyed it.”
Lifestyle lead, Miranda, said it was really enjoyable watching the residents posing for their photographs with their Halloween decorations at the party.
“It’s been so much fun supporting the residents with the creativity of making the Halloween decorations,” she said.
“Having the families and children join us created an amazing atmosphere and was worth dressing up for.”
