A Winter Wonderland event held during March’s first Christmas market raised £340 towards supporting young carers in Fenland.
The event - which included Santa’s grotto and face painting in the town hall - was orgaised by community group 20Twenty Productions and March Rotary Club.
20Twenty’s Mad Moose group had helped raise money to transform the room. Volunteers offered face painting and craft activities to the 350 children who visited Santa.
Katherine Nightingale of 20TwentyProductions said: “We were overwhelmed with the number of families who supported our event; it was an amazing turn out for the first year, giving us plenty to build on for the future.”
20Twenty Productions help to support many events and activities within the local community. For information see the website www.20twentyproductions.co.uk or like their Facebook page www.facebook.com/20TwentyProductions
