A car caught fire on the A47 near Thorney last night (Tuesday January 9).
Crews from Thorney and Dogsthorpe were called to the blaze at 9.38pm.
Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus, they used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The crews returned to their stations by 10.35pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
